Kimberly Johnson was recently acknowledged for her Independent Scholarly Project (ISP) from Georgetown University School of Medicine at the 7th Annual George M. Kober Student Research Day. She was awarded first place in the presentation competition for her research on Coagulopathy and Transfusion in Burn Patients.

Dr. Timpone, Associate Dean for Student Research remarked,"It was well received by your classmates and the faculty judges were equally impressed. The type of work demonstrated in your presentation truly embodies the spirit of the ISP. Your success with your research project will hopefully encourage you to continue to incorporate scientific investigation into your future career."
