Georgetown University Tri-Annual Internship Poster Presentation
Tressa Joy recently presented her research titled Examining oxidative stress in dyspigmented hypertrophic scar after cutaneous injuries in a red Duroc porcine model as part of the Georgetown University Tri-Annual Internship Poster Presentation for interns in the M.S. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology program.
The poster presentation was held on Friday, April 27, 2018. Internships for this spring's program were conducted in various GUMC labs and and NIH, and focused on basic and applied biochemical, cellular and biomedical research. Tressa’s work was performed here in the Firefighters’ Burn and Surgical Research Laboratory with mentorship from Dr. Lauren Moffatt, Dr. Naser Alkhalil and Bonnie Carney.
